The B. Ed. in Early Childhood with Advanced Standing Programme is for individuals who hold a Diploma in Education and wish to upgrade to a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.

Entry Requirements 

  • Honors Diploma in Early Childhood Education or Primary Education
  • Credit Diploma in Early Childhood Education or Primary Education
  • Pass* Diploma in Early Childhood Education or Primary Education 

*Applicants with a pass Diploma and/or a Diploma in Primary Education will be required to do prerequisite courses as recommended by the Joint Board of Teacher Education (JBTE).

General Duration and Programme Modality

 The B. ED in Early Childhood Education with Advanced Standing is offered- 

  • Part-time only
  • Includes summer semester classes (day and evening)
  • *Two years (*duration extended for Pass Diploma candidates, and those who wish to change their programme specialization)
