Minimum Requirements for Admission
These are the minimum requirements for admission to St. Joseph’s Teachers’ College:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Social Science (Social Studies, History, Religious Studies, Geography, English Literature, etc.)
- Natural Science (Human and Social Biology, Biology, Chemistry, Integrated Science, Physics, etc.)
- One other academic subject

*Important Note on Mathematics:
• Grades 1 & 2 accepted for B.Ed. Primary Education.
• Grades 1, 2 & 3 accepted for B.Ed. Early Childhood Education.
• Candidates for Early Childhood may use NCTVET level II as 1 of the 5 subjects.
Categories of Admissions
Fully Qualified
Satisfies all fundamental criteria set by the college for admission.
Qualifying
Possesses at least four (4) of the required subjects needed to fully matriculate.
Mature Entry
30+ years old with 5 years teaching experience without standard qualifications.

- Completed application form with current photo ID (signed within 6 months).
- Non-refundable application fee.
- Certified copy of birth certificate and academic certificates.
- Transcripts (Required for B.Ed. Advanced Standing applicants).
*Pre-College Programme forms are available at the college office.
